Upgrade your morning toast, or pile onto scones with butter and cream.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped strawberries
- ½ cup castor sugar
- 1 60ml shot red espresso® Rooibos
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare red espresso® Rooibos – as you would coffee – using your coffee appliance:
- Place all ingredients in a medium-sized pot and place over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer and allow to cook, stirring regularly, for 10-15 minutes, or until – for lack of a better description – jammy.
- Transfer to a sterilised jar and refrigerate.
