All of our Matcha products can be used to make a delicious Green Tea Matcha Latte, Iced Matcha or Smoothy bowl. For this recipe, we will use our Matcha Latte Mix, a perfect blend of Japanese Matcha and Organic Coconut Blossom sugar. Enjoy our Green Tea Matcha by adding it to your breakfast smoothy, or trying our Matcha Chia Pudding recipe.  Packed with nutrients that come with Chia seeds as well as Green Tea Matcha, this will no doubt kick start your day in the right way.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 sachet caramel suki sweetener or 2 tsp xylitol/ stevia
  • 1 tsp red espresso® Matcha Latte Mix
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or natural coconut water

For topping

  • 100g fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 tbsp coconut shavings
  • ½ mango OR 3 slices pineapple, diced

Method

In a bowl, mix your chia seeds with your almond milk / coconut water, sweetener and matcha latte powder and leave to soak for 40 minutes or until the chia seeds reach a pudding consistency. You can do this the night before or for the week in advance to save time. Top with your dried coconut shavings and fresh fruit and serve.
