Red Espresso - Spiced chai latte sachets - vegan friendly

Enjoy real café chai in an instant - just add hot water

What our dietician has to say:"Thanks to Red Espresso, this authentic Indian beverage can now be made in the comfort of your own home by just adding hot water and a milk/milk substitute of your choice. The Red Espresso Chai Latte Sachets are made by blending black tea with authentic Indian spices such as cinnamon, ginger and cardamom. These spices have been shown to have beneficial effects on blood glucose control, cholesterol and blood pressure. In addition, studies have shown that drinking black tea can reduce cholesterol and blood pressure levels. As is the Indian tradition, this beverage is sweetened with sugar so be mindful of your total sugar intake for the day when adding a Red Espresso Spiced Chai Latte to your daily routine."

Over the years our customers have asked us for a chai tea latte blend. A quality café-grade chai that's easy to make at home. This is our take on what we think is a good spiced chai. Made with authentic Indian spices, black tea and caramelised coconut blossom sugar to give it our unique taste profile. We've cut out all dairy ingredients but still kept it indulgent. So now you can enjoy real "café chai" at home that's vegan friendly too.

It is non GMO and contains absolutely no soy, gluten, palm oil, additives, flavourings or colourants.

I look forward to my next cup of chai... it is truly café-style like it says...

I prepared it with hot water and unlike some other premixes, this one tastes a lot more wholesome (no hydrogenated fats, etc.) with lovely warming cinnamon (I could smell and taste it so it must be quite potent). I don't take sugar in my chai but I would give up my entire days sugar allowance for a luxurious and delicious spicy chai like this...the cinnamon lingers long after...will always have these on hand for a spoiling... Thank you so much for adding a little "sweetness" to my life today :)
I am sure that it is going to be a great addition to any vegan's pantry too. If you have enough requests to cut out the sugar, do you think that they would be able to prepare a sugar free version? It took me a while to get used to a very spicy drink such as chai without sugar but once I did, it didn't bother me and I could enjoy a cup of masala tea but I must admit that on a day when I feel like spoiling myself, the sweetness in chai makes a world of difference.

Hi Apples, thanks so much for your review. Yes we are looking at bringing out a sugar-free chai but like you say, the authentic masala chai recipes call for sugar to bring that sweetness to the spices.

So healthy!

This drink is phenomenal! When I saw that it was vegan-friendly, I admit I was a bit skeptical of how it would taste. But the taste and the texture is so amazing that even though I’m not a vegan, I love this drink so much and I drink it all the time. I’m so grateful to have an alternative to coffee, and chai is really my spice, so all in all I rate this product 5/5!

Thank you!!

It is very exciting that you have taken the time to develop this. I always see the Instant cappuccino’s and latte’s and was wishing someone would make something for Vegan’s. So I am very grateful as I’m sure the rest of the Vegans will be, I have already told my friends about it.
