Espresso Machine

  1. Scoop 14g red espresso (1 level red scoop)
  2. Into our RCP (red crema plus) filter basket or a standard double filter basket
  3. No need to tamp
  4. Extract a double shot (60ml/2oz.) This is the basis for all red drinks

Dedicate a group head and porta handle to red espresso and use our RCP (red crema plus) basket. This ensures best flavour, extraction and crema every time.

OR dedicate a porta handle and rinse your group head when switching between coffee and red espresso.

If using a standard double filter basket, manually pre-infuse: stop when the pour starts, wait 10 seconds and then resume ex- pressing.

  • Simply list a red drink in its associated category i.e. our cafe-style drinks should appear with your teas, our iced teas should appear with your iced teas – as shown below.

How to price red drinks

Price your red drinks at the same price as their coffee equivalents.
Alternatively, as it is a healthy product, you can add a slight (5 – 10%) premium.
