1. Ensure your stovetop espresso maker is clean
2. Unscrew the bottom portion and fill with cold water (to just below the valve)
3. Fill the steel filter basket with red espresso
4. red espresso expands in hot water so do not overfill the basket!
5. There is no need to tamp
6. Screw on the top portion
7. Place on medium heat on stovetop
8. Wait until red espresso is fully extracted to the top chamber
